June 21, 201015 yr Hi all, I might look foolish asking question, but i am new to filemaker pro,so here it goes. I have three tables 1.student 2.team 3.semester student and team have a join table : stu_team. with student and team primary keys in it. The stu_team table is connected to the semester table , to keep information about which student was in which team in which semester. this is the relationship graph: relationship graph now i created a layout with the table as semester and it looks like this: layout i want to use this layout such that i should be able to see all the students in the given semester by choosing the team name. is this possible with filemaker... please help, i need to get this solution done soon.... any help will be great. June 21, 201015 yr I am having difficulty in understanding your relationship graph (or that part of it in the screenshot) - it is also difficult to determine which table is which. It may be easier to upload a clone of your file ...

June 22, 201015 yr It would still be much easier if you uploaded a clone of the file - I don't know whether anyone else is prepared to do it but I certainly am not going to spend time determining from the relationship graph which table occurrences belong to which table. The graph - and the relationships - look as if they could be made much simpler and easier to understand (and not least by using three colours for the three tables).
June 28, 201015 yr Obviously your Screen Name doesn't match your response. Your file doesn't open. It says that it is Terminal Error. Is this suppose to be a FileMaker file, or is it a Runtime?
June 28, 201015 yr I just tried to download it again, no luck. I see others have tried, perhaps one of them had better luck. If not, then you will need to try again.
June 28, 201015 yr That worked. Strange, it asked me for a Application, but FileMaker wouldn't open it. :hair:
