Sub Summary Calculation Question

Featured Replies

So there may be a very simple fix to this question, but I seem to be overlooking something. As you can see below, I have a very simple report. It consists of a leading grand summary with title and date range. Its main contents are a sub summary that takes all the records in a found set and catagorizes those records based on any promotions that were given. It also has a trailing grand summary that totals all of the record amounts for loads, yards and promotions given. The last column represents a ratio of promotial $'s given per yard.

The question I have is in regards to the final column. The field SumPromo.Yrd is a calculation the devides SumPromoAmt by SumQty. This ratio field works great when placed in the trailing grand summary, but I would like it to display the correct ratio for each type of promotion in the sub summary. Currently, if i place that field in the sub summary area it reports the same ratio as it does when placed in the trailing grand summary. In this case -1.26. It does not show the correct ratio for each corrosponding Promotion.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Have a look at the GetSummary() function.
