how can a lock a field that can not be edited in a time that field "a" has a parameter "lock"?

Please re-word your question so that we can understand your request. And a bit more information (more than one sentence) would be helpful as well. :wink2:

In the layout i what to lock a field named "category" so it can not be editable in a condition that field named "lock" has the data "lock"

In the options for the field "category", select the Validation tab and validate with the calculation

lock ≠ "lock"
