I have a table that contains five different date fields and I am trying to create a status field based on if a date has been entered into into one of the date fields. For example if date received contains a date then the status would be "Open" if date quoted contains a date then the status would be "Quoted" and so on. I have tried using the case function but it seems to only work base on one field. I'm a little lost.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Anthony

Try =

Case (

...

DateQuoted ; "Quoted" ;

DateReceived ; "Open"

)

Note that the order of tests is important - the first test to evaluate true will determine the result.

Worked perfectly!

Test order did make difference, but got it sorted out.

Thank You!
