Joseph31 Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Can Filemaker 8,9,10 or 11 calculate accrued interest at any point in time given a start date and an end date? Or should I just use Quick books?
comment Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Can Filemaker 8,9,10 or 11 calculate accrued interest at any point in time given a start date and an end date? No. But if you also supply the principal amount, interest rate and method of accrual, then yes - it should be quite simple.
Lee Smith Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Are you looking for an Amortization Schedule, or just the interest calculation? Since this can be accomplished in v3, it should be easier in a current versions.
