Joseph31 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I do not know how this is done but I have seen a few examples of peoples databases where there layout has a color on the background --- this is not a object you can select... its part of the pats (ie body etc...) Does anyone know how to do this... The default is white theirs is Black... Thank you
Lee Smith Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) Select the body part to be changed and then right click on it, you will get a dialog box that says Part Definition with two choices Color and Fill. If you double click, you will jump into the Part selection menu, which is not where you want to go. You can also change this by clicking on the part, and going to the Inspector » Appearance » Click on the "Fill" and selecting the color. HTH Lee Edited October 18, 2010 by Guest typos
Joseph31 Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 On windows noting happens --- I have tried to fill it but the color is still white? Any thoughts? Thank you
bruceR Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 The body part IS an object you can select. Use the named "handle" - the thing that says "Body" - which is either at the bottom of the part or to the left side, depending on how you have the layout configured.
