Hello to everyone,

My question is if it is possible to format the text in the custom value list. For example to have the "10" in red, the "5" in green.

Thank u.

Is there any other solution for that problem? I mean, I want to use some values in a formatted way. Is there any other way other than custom value list?

Thanx

I think we need to know what you are trying to accomplish.

In other words, under what conditions do you want to display what and why.

You can use the Conditional Formatting on a field to show different text format based on the conditions you specify.

Attach a file, or give a more complete description of what you have now, and what you want as an end result.

Thanx u for the immediate reply Mr. Lee

I have a simple table with 3 fields.

Field 1 is for date, field 2 is for worker's name and field 3 is the definition of work done by each worker. There is 4 types of work done ( difficult, easy, medium, and relaxed). My table is designed for records to show for each day who are working and which type of work they are doing. The things that I am wondering is if there is any way to format the difficult with red color, the medium with blue, the relaxed with green and the medium with light blue so that when I have the database viewed in browse mode to be easy distinguishable the type of work by colors rather than by text.

You can apply conditional formatting to the FIELD - this will show AFTER you make the selection from the value list. You cannot format the value list itself (i.e. you will not see colors WHILE you are making your selection).
