November 2, 200025 yr Newbies I just switched from the Mac version to the NT 4 version which runs as a service. The PDF manual that came on the CD is corrupted and I know nothing about services. So how do I tell FMServer to open files and share them with the rest of the network? And I can't find the manual anywhere on the web, does anyone out there have a copy they could email me? Thanks everyone. matthew g.
November 3, 200025 yr Take a look at the FileMaker TechInfo database Article #103863: Databases Not Opening Automatically when FileMaker Pro Server is Launched. I think this refers to the Macintosh version but it may still be of use. The TechInfo database is at http://www.filemaker.com/support/techinfo.html
November 3, 200025 yr Author Newbies Thank you for the reply, but my databases are in the same folder as the app. Is there some kind of a switch that I can start it with that tells it to open everything. And I'm beginning to wonder if a manual exists anywhere for this thing. matthew g.
