confused

I think i am talking of merged fields?

Difficult explaining what these several field are... trying to dissect another code

I need to change the relationship of several fields in a portal in a layout, don't think its portal related but dealing with merged field in a layout... trying to edit it

If I change the font or click around... its opens to where maybe

i can make heads or tails what is// how do i modify or how does one get more info manipulating these merged fields?

Haven't used these ... kind of hard to dissect even know what inside

i have a date, a hour, a time, a am/pm field seems like their all bunched together?

Hi Rod,

A screen shot would be very helpful.

If you are in layout mode, you'll see at the bottom of the Insert Menu commands to insert various symbols, such as ## for current page number and :: for time.

These symbols resolve in Browse mode and do not need merge << >> embracing them.

They do not really make sense in a portal, as they are not related data.
