I have 15 databases running on FMP 4.0 and serving the data to the web on port 591 on a Mac G3 using pages made in Homesite 3. The Mac keeps freezing - anyone else have this problem? Can it be happening when two people access the db at the same time? Or what?

Make sure you are running the latest patch levels of both MacOS and FileMaker Pro 4 (you don't say what version MacOS you are running).

Also, are there any other programs running on the machine? Do you have another web server running, for instance? The problem may lie with that program.

FileMaker Pro can manage two or more people accessing a database at once, so it's not that.

How much RAM does the G3 have, and how much is allocated to FMP?
