I'm running FileMaker 4.0 (server version is the same) and more than half the time I attempt to launch the program, I receive an access violation error message from Dr. Watson before any files are opened. Any ideas on how to correct this?

You can start by making sure all the copies of FMP are the latest patch level -- FMP 4.0v3. Updatrers are free from http://www.filemaker.com/

Ditto for the operating system.

Thanks. I downloaded the lastest FMP patch and haven't had any difficulty since.
