I have a run solution with filemaker 7. But i cant use ubuntu it doesnt work. how do we work filemaker with ubuntu (linux)

Not directly - FileMaker and runtimes only run on Windows/OS X.

You should be okay with a virtual machine though.

I've been able to run FM11 using Wine, but external connection were not working. Anyway, virtualization is the way to go.
