hi-i'm trying to send out a mass e.mail and cannot figure out how to do it on filemaker 4.1. i have files on 232 people and about 200 of those have e.mail. what is the easiest way to sort these? someone please help!!!

Find and sort the records to suit your needs. Then either:

- use the Send Mail script step to generate the e-mail messages. Send Mail is relatively easy to work with but on the Mac, FMP passes the messages onto either Eudora or Claris Emailer, no other programs work. To get around this limitation...

- use the Open URL script step to send the email to the default web browser to send. This requires a bit more work. Read about it in the FAQ forum.
