EDITED:

I beleive i have found the answer to the below question.. from information on the filemaker www... Apparently this occurs with NT service pack 4 or later. An admin recently installed service pack 5. I will update server 3 to v4 and hopefully fix the prob myself..........cya

Greetings,

This is my first post. (so be gentle) =)

Here goes.

I have been running FMS 3 on an NT server with no probs for a year now.

Clients access the server by opening hosts....and a list of databases come up for which they access.

However, just recently, the databases do not automatically appear when a client accesses the hosts. We have to click on specify hosts and put in the i.p address of the server..... Any Ideas why this has happened???
