lsmall Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Hi. My Pie chart has 30-50 slices and the last few are under 1%. These values become bunched up. I can use a label calculation to eliminate the name for values under a certain %, however the actual % value still automatically displays. I can think of a few round about ways to fix this, but I was wondering if anyone had a straight forward solution. I would just like the smaller values to be completely blank. See attachment
comment Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Perhaps you could group the smaller values under "Other"?
normanicus Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Use calculated values and zero the ones under 1% so they won't show.
lsmall Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 Thanks. These are the solutions that I had been thinking about too. I was hoping not to have to go through a multistep process, but I think combining the low values into an "OTHER" slice is the best option. This will involve some new fields and calculations, which I was hoping to avoid, but looks like the way to go. I could also create a field listing the contents of the "OTHER" slice and place it next to the chart.
