Pie Chart label problem

Featured Replies

Hi.

My Pie chart has 30-50 slices and the last few are under 1%. These values become bunched up. I can use a label calculation to eliminate the name for values under a certain %, however the actual % value still automatically displays. I can think of a few round about ways to fix this, but I was wondering if anyone had a straight forward solution. I would just like the smaller values to be completely blank. See attachment

Perhaps you could group the smaller values under "Other"?

Use calculated values and zero the ones under 1% so they won't show.

Wouldn't that skew the chart?

Thanks. These are the solutions that I had been thinking about too. I was hoping not to have to go through a multistep process, but I think combining the low values into an "OTHER" slice is the best option. This will involve some new fields and calculations, which I was hoping to avoid, but looks like the way to go. I could also create a field listing the contents of the "OTHER" slice and place it next to the chart.
