When I edit a layout, I can drag the word "body" down to add more space, and can add any fields I need and move them to their position. But, I can't get any more space to the right of the screen. If I drag fields past the dotted line they disappear. I can't seem to drag the line to the right to make the layout bigger. I know it has to be possible. What do I do?

There should be no limit to how wide your page is unless you are in Preview mode. The line that you are dragging to the right does not set a margin, it is called a "T square" and it is there to simply help you position things in straight lines.

In preview mode (on a Mac), you can fit more on your page by setting the scale in Print Preview... to a smaller number. On PC's resetting the print magnification used to cause pages to get clipped - I haven't tried it lately.

mfero, he does not have T-squares on. He wants to drag the page break indicator, but can't.

drumorgan, the line on the right is the page break indicator. Setting your page setup to landscape will give you a wider printout. However, this only really affects Preview and printouts, in Browse mode, your layout will scroll to the last object on the right.

You're right, I missed the part about "dotted line".

OK, thanks. those are "page breaks" for printing and as long as I don't have any need to print this particular layout, I guess I can drag items over to the right for better screen layout.
