Printed Pages sliding down page using HP 4si

I am using a Mac connected to a HP 4si printer via ethernet.

I have a layout that prints info from several different fields in a horizontal line, so my body setup is very small and has a leading grand summary.

This layout was orginally made on Filemaker Pro 3 and converted to 4.

It was orginally setup as view as list (but I see no such labling in 4).

When I print, it is supposed to each record in a horizontal line, then print the next record. It does this, but when it gets to page 2 and higher, the print is sliding up or down the page so that some records are getting cut off.

I tried changing the leading grand summary to a header, and what I see is the header appears to be moving down the page as the pages print starting at page 2 and moving up the page starting at page 4. Pages 1 & 3 are ok.

I have tried setting the slide up, but it doesn't make a difference.

When I print to an HP deskwriter (inkjet), the layouts print normally.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Thank you,

Craig

Have you tried a different driver. I assume you are using LaserWriter 8 Perhaps you could try Adobe PS. It may work better!?
