Am i that insane that i just dont understand why this is happening. I checked forums all over and the net, no answer.

Can someone tell me why this is happening.

All of my fields are not editable such as changing the number to display currency,etc,

here is a screenshot:

Is the field a number field? Also, you have the time options selected in the inspector.

is the field is calculation field

text & 2 are lookups & 1 calculation field.

Never had this happen before? is this something new/?

As Vaughan says, check the field's data type. You cannot format a Text field (or a calculation field with result type set to Text) as currency.
