Hi:

I am experimenting with Instant Web Publishing and can't find if this can be accomplished using FMP Server Software or if the databases need to be hosted using a client (stand alone ) version of FMPro?

Can anyone give me a general idea of what the overall picture is with publishing online using the server software?

It is my understanding that FMServer is not for publishing to the web.

You should be able to find this info at filemaker.

Web publishing is done via WebCompanion e.g. from Client (up to 10 guests in 12 hours frame) or Unlimited.

Both can take the data from server
