Default Starter Solution Database Layout ScrewUP

Featured Replies

Hi there out there,

I just want to rearrange an existing starter solution database layout.

• When I go to layout mode, I shift around elements but when I go to browse mode what I have adjusted is messed all up?

• I am assuming there is some default over ride somewhere that is causing this but I cannot figure where.

• Items that I have moved and set up to align left are now moving to the middle.

• Field widths that I have adjusted are now all different.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also when i go to print the page that I am on it goes to a totally different page, forcing me to do a find only the page I want. Go to the layout I want, find it again (new layout is based on the existing layout, so it should be using the same data). Any thoughts???

In layout mode open the object info palette. Select the fields, etc that are not in the positions you require and unlock the relevant padlocks on the autoresize option.

Before you print script it to find the current record - Show all records, Omit record, Show omitted

Here is an example of what is happening.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Sounds like at least some of your objects are set to auto-resize:

Thank you, that did it.

I knew it was something basic.

Much appreciated.
