Every time I try to export a report into excel, I get either nothing at all or incorrect summary field values. How can I get it to just export what I see in the report to an excel sheet?

It seems like if I go to the table view it works fine but in a report it has problems. Must be something with the summary fields or other calculations. Does anyone have a solution for this? I'm almost to the point of exporting to pdf and then using a pdf to excel converter. Such a hassle for something that should be done easily in filemaker.

Why don't you post a file showing the problem?

It is easily done: you're doing something wrong (or not doing something right).

As Comment suggested, post a sample file showing your data structure.

Here is a sample. If you go to the "report" layout, preview, save as excel, it comes out blank.

how about EXPORT instead of SAVE AS excel? there is a difference.
