Tom England
I have a value list with about 10 options (checkboxes) I then have ten fields each one relating to each checkbox. I want the fields to lign up with the individual checkbox, and the text relating to the box, when printed out. Is the only way to do this by trial and error? It doesn't printout anything like the preview. Thanks

Than lock it: Now drop your fields on layout Select first one and check boxes. Select-->valigne top edges and lock Select last one and check boxes. Select-->valigne bottom top edges and lock Select all your fields exept checkboxes Select-->haligne center, vdistribuate space where h mean horizontal ( Left to Right) and v mean vertical alignment. HTH Dj BTW I've posted some clarifications about Future Dates
Tom England
Yeah thanks for the Future Dates bit that has been a great help. Thanks for the quick reply. This alignment thing though looks fine in browse mode but when printed, fields don't line up with the checkboxes vertically. Looking at other posts it seems to be a problem with windows?? If I designed it on a Mac would it then printout OK through windows?? Thanks [ April 09, 2002, 03:23 AM: Message edited by: Tom England ]

Tom England
Did you do all the alignment on a mac?
andygaunt
Tom, just a quick thought. You haven't got sliding/ printing set on any of those fields have you? This may cause it to lose its alignment when in preview mode.

Tom England
I have access to G3s so I can just do the alignment on those. It doesn't look right on a PC but it's a layout that is printed by a script so the user doesn't see it anyway. Thanks for your input.
