Is it possible to import pictures in a FMPro 4.1 Database using an online HTML page. And if so can someone please tell me how.

I have found something that helps me :

<input name="pic" type="file">. this creates a texfield and browse button. I am able to select a file from my harddrive. Now i want to know how to upload it in my Database.

this issue has been discussed many times over, and unfortunatley the answer is no. Web Companion is anot a "full" web server and does not handle the uploading of files.

What you can do is open the database remotely with an FMP client and add images into container fields directly.

could you do it in Lasso?

What about Javascript to some sort of Applescript on the host machine to a) download the file, : open the FM database, c) insert the file into the container field.

Just talking out load - probably no way. Although this is a desired feature I would like to see with Filemaker
