November 1, 201114 yr I had a database that was running great for months. Shared and on a server in house. Now, It's unusable... even after recovery, and all data removed (I have mostly empty tables...)... I'm trying to track down the problem, and I'm spinning in circles. I have this log report. Can anyone see any possibilities. I see at the top of the list a reference to a dropped page with a script? Selected lines look like this: *** Started consistency check of improperly closed file, total of 335 block(s) to check 2011-11-01 11:51:58.865 -0500 LegacyDM.fp7 8440 ERROR: Page 326 invalid structure 2011-11-01 11:51:58.880 -0500 LegacyDM.fp7 805 FAILED consistency check, error 805 2011-11-01 11:52:22.004 -0500 LegacyDM.fp7 0 *** Started recovery of 'LegacyDM.fp7' 2011-11-01 11:52:22.006 -0500 LegacyDM.fp7 0 Scanning blocks and rebuilding file... 2011-11-01 11:52:22.069 -0500 LegacyDM.fp7 8452 ERROR: Page 326 invalid structure, dropping it 2011-11-01 11:52:22.071 -0500 LegacyDM.fp7 0 Dropped page starts with data of type: script 2011-11-01 11:52:22.073 -0500 LegacyDM.fp7 0 Scan complete, found 330 page(s) to process Whole log report attached below. Once you find a backup that doesn't return the error, use the non-Recovered version of the file going forward. If that's not possible, try a recent backup that hasn't been recovered, and delete that #96 script, save a compacted or clone and see if you still have problems. If so, go back to that same file, delete that script and recover. Using a recovered file is not recommended but if you have no choice, it's better than corruption.
