Newbies lotusman Posted September 2, 2001 Newbies Share Posted September 2, 2001 Hi, I need to find out what it runs for a FM professional to do a database for one of my web clients, but this database is not for the web, at least not now. Here's what I know. They will to do a market research campaign and when they get all the data (name, contact info, industry, questionaire anwers, etc) They want it all put into a database so they can look at their data. It seem like a simple database. I'm new to databases and want to get a feel for what this will cost. I need to get a ball park figure of what FM professionals will charge. I need to know what is the low-end cost and the high-end cost, so when I hire someone to do it, I'l know what to expect. Please e-mail privately if you think pricing should not be discussed openly in the forums. Thanks for all your help. John
SteveB
Filemaker may not be the best candidate for a research survey. You are probably better with one of the cross tabulation products that are available.
