Stop record forward and backward while mouse scroll

In layout mode there is record forward and backward while mouse scroll.

I would like to stop this features with the every layout.

Please share your suggestions

In Layout mode or in Browse Mode? In Browse mode you need to hide and lock the status area.

Barbara has already pointed out how to handle this for Browse Mode, and we're assuming that's what you mean. However, you did say Layout Mode in your question, and in fact if that is what you mean, you can toggle it (high/show) by going to the Main Menu and selecting View >> Status Toolbar or by clicking on the little icon at the bottom left of your screen, 3rd 1 over from the zoom level i.e. 100

I can understand why you would do this in Browse Mode, but I can't understand why you'd want to do this permanently in Layout Mode, as it is a quick way to go from layout to layout that you are not hiding.
