I'm looking for an elegant solution that would do the following:

I have a table with Title First name and Last name as 3 separate fields. I want to create a value list which would display the Last Name, First Name and when selected would enter the Title First Name Last name in the field in that order. So for example the list should look like:

Smith Peter

Smithers Andy

Select Smith Peter and get Dr. Peter Smith

Select Smithers Andy and get Prof. Andy Smithers

Any help would be appreciated.

We need to understand your structure to properly answer. You would not want to enter the NAME but rather the ID of the Client and, when you have entered the ID and have established the proper relationship, fields from Client that you place on the layout will fill in automatically. Are you using IDs in your value list and also displaying the name?

What is the table name that you want this information to display? Is it for exporting, reporting, displaying in Browse mode? Does this table have a Client ID? Are you using proper relational IDs?

Once we understand how the tables are related and have answers to my questions, we can properly advise.
