Featured Replies

can i create a database that has a portal that records all the new record of the database ? even when i put create new record i doesn't change and put the new record.... something like filemaker 12 has in the task database.

please let me know

thank you

Yes... but you need to define "new".

The very first time I open the database ALL the records are new (to me). If I close the database and open it again, what should I see?

Thanks for your reply ,

i would like that every time i open the database ... the portal shows me all the records on the database ...

please let me know you to do that,

thank you

If you want to see ALL the records then use the X operator for the relationship in the portal.

Note that this gets REALLY slow when the record count gets large, especially if the portal does a sort because the entire record data set needs to be pulled down form the server to display the portal.

IMHO a list view is simplest.
