one search field to search multiple fields...

Featured Replies

Hey all. I know I've read up on this somewhere before on this site, but after a search I cannot seem to find the thread(s) that described it.

I am looking to have one field in a dialogue box that searches two or more separate fields. For example, my database contains movie theater projection booth data. Each time a new movie comes in the user enters the data and print numbers. I want the user to be able to enter either the movie title ("movie title") or the print number ("print number") in the search field and still be able to return the same results.

If someone could point me in the correct direction I would be much obliged.

Thanks!
