dwdata Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Hello Gang, I am perplexed and bummed. I am revamping my product and was going to use a web viewer to display content, but am now having second thoughts now. Please view my quicktime movie, so you can witness the odd behavior: http://www.dwdatacon...s.com/error.mov If you have any comments or feedback, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks! Don PS - I tried to attach the video to this post but got an PHP Error ;-(
Lee Smith Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I use web-viewer a lot, but not using buttons. Can you post a mockup of the file showing the button script and the WV code?
dwdata Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 Interesting - I created a MOCKUP and once I set code to the Web Viewer, the scroll bars did work, BUT if I click OFF web viewer (dead part of layout), then HOVER over events and Links in Web Viewer, NO POPUP Titles or FINGER cursor when selecting the W or M in the Column Headers next to the name. It's a little better in that the scroll bars work, but still OFF. Hmmm? wv_bug.zip
Lee Smith Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I can confirm that the scroll bar works. Also, that w/o touching anything that the tooltip works too? Lee
dwdata Posted May 8, 2012 Author Posted May 8, 2012 Really - well that's interesting. You are using FMP12 Advanced MACOS? Correct?
Lee Smith Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 No, 11 with lion. I just let it open by clicking on the file. I have been messing around with it as its behavior seems to be inconsistent. Almost like a loading problem.
Lee Smith Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I opened your file in version 12 and got the same odd behavior as exhibited in version 11. The WebViewer is slow in both versions, but I found that if I clicked on one of the notes the tool tip works too.
comment Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 There's nothing strange or buggy that I can see here; on mouseover effects in a web viewer occur only when the web viewer object is active.
