Using FM Pro Advanced 12.0v1 and FM Go for iPad. In FM Pro, clicking in a field formatted as an Edit box for Text simply results in a flashing cursor appearing where I can start typing. When I tap in the same field in FM Go, the field also doubles in height. Is there a way to prevent or restrict this behavior? I believe the field in question is plenty large enough to display the text appropriately.

I have since seen that adding a scroll bar to the field (which is supposed to be not visible in FM Go, though in reality it is) will lock the field to the set height. Is this the best way to handle the issue? I would rather not encourage entering multiple lines of text as the scroll bar indicator might do.

If you have yet to find the solution to your problem... In addition to selecting "include vertical scrollbar", you need to set the line characteristics for the field to "none".

Hi,

I have been unsuccessful in locating the "NONE" selection.

Can you be more specific, what do you mean by "Characteristics".  Every possible place where I can select "NONE" I have, and I still have the issue with the text box doubling in height when selecting it in the iPad / iPad Mini.

I'm researching the FM Go Docs now, but I read somewhere that there is a recommended height a I'm wondering if the iPad / iPad Mini are using this height as a "Default"

Any guidance here would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Tom
