But I still have some problems with what tables should relate to what table and one to many, many to many relationships and id keys and such things. Also I would need some extra practice in calculations:) is there any more training, movie out there I can use to learn more? Appreciate answers! new to filemaker here:)

tobbesfilemaker Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 I dont have my own fmp license.. thats the problem, my friend is just loaning me an acoount with full access so I can try it out:) Do you think I should get a license? so I can start practicing those sample files? is that a good way of learning these things I need help with?
IdealData Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 You can get the free 30 day trial from FileMaker's website and this will include all the sample files previously mentioned. If you don't get a license how do you propose to any developments. If you don't do any developments, what's the point of your learning.

You can Download a Trial of FileMaker from FileMaker Inc's site which will have the sample files aka templates. Applications > FileMaker Pro 12 Advanced > English Extras > Templates
