Relationship on list function?

Hey, cant a relationship be built on the list function? if the value in the list function is exactly the same as the field its related to it should work right? I cant get it to work.

Yes, it should work - provided all other conditions are satisfied. For example, if the List calculation is unstored, the relationship will work in only one direction.

I've recently had exactly the same problem on FMPA 12.03 and couldn't make it work.
