I am new to the templates that FileMaker currently provides, and need help!  I am in need of a template that is capable of daily call logs, reminders, full contact information, ability to place media information and its assets in an organized location, legal documents, transactions, and a detailed campaign reporting system. I would also need to be able to convert a list of "leads and potential customers" that I am in the process of discussing agreements with to put these into my full time customer tracking sheet after they sign the agreement.

 

Does FileMaker have any templates that can currently handle the majority of these tasks or are there any recommendations of sites that can offer a template that could handle this type work load? Whether it is paid or free?

Did you look at the example files in the application folder  called "Templates"?

 

I'm not sure of your meaning of CRM? I can guess, but lets clarify.

Thank you for such a quick response! We need a customer Relationship Management system in which to monitor the transactions, and call logs for all of our customers as well as their personal information.  Most of the examples we have looked at did not have all of the necessary fields and features we would need, such as storage for the legal agreements and the ability to get notifications when certain agreements were coming up for renewal.  I was just curious if there were any suggestions for templates that could cover some of these fields that were already made into templates. I would not mind purchasing a template that had the majority of what we needed and figuring out the rest, it is just a matter of filling in these gaps :-)

 

I am using the contact list template at the moment to at least outline what features might be needed for the company, but since I am certainly not an expert at FileMaker, I thought I would ask the forums for any suggestions on a premade template.
