Position Title: FileMaker Technician/Developer

Description of Duties:

 

We are: a 20 year old industry-leading company that publishes a FileMaker-based solution for art galleries, artists, museums and foundations.  Our clients are the biggest names in the art industry, all over the world.  We are currently about to release our 10th version in FileMaker 12.  We are a relaxed, small, fun, team-oriented environment to work in.

 

We are looking for a FileMaker Developer to provide technical support, installation of our solution (both remote and onsite in galleries and artist studios), data transfer, plus help us with development of future versions and add-on features. Various duties include: answering phones, training clients, going onsite to galleries and artist studios to assist clients and install software, analyzing client needs, customizing our solution to suit our client's needs, helping us look to the future and developing new products down the road. 

 

The type of person we are looking for is: Organized, thorough communicator, motivated, friendly, comfortable on the phone, very patient, has at least 2 years of FileMaker Pro skills and experience, technically curious

Location: New York, NY

Position: Full Time

Employment: Onsite in New York City Only

Skills Required:

 

 

Minimum 2 years FileMaker Experience

Must have built FileMaker solutions and be able to show projects you've worked on

 

A Plus:

Data Transfer experience

SQL Experience

QuickBooks Experience

FMBooks Connector

Media Manager

 

Compensation: $40,000-$65,000 depending on FileMaker Skill Level

That is one helluva commute. I'd apply, but the salary range is quite low for NYC. It barely covers the commuting costs.
