How do I lock editing of a record by user?

I'm building an issue tracking system. 

 

Lets say I have 100 records now and 5 people responsible for adding data.  I want to assign a record to a user with him and the admins being the only people that can edit that record.

 

Ideally I dont even want the other users to see records not assigned to them, but I want to keep it simple first.

 

 

So when a user logs in, he can only edit records he was assigned.

Do a search for record level access

  • Author

record level access is going to do the trick.
