Unable to view long table occurrence names?

I am developing a solution with FMPA12 on a Mac and I am working on the project with another developer that is working on Windows. He is complaining that he us unable work with long table occurrence names becuase he cannot see the full name in certain FileMaker dialog windows. (please see attached example)

 

So is this a FileMaker issue or a Windows limitation?

 

Other than shortening the table occurrence names is there any other solution to this problem, such as an OS utility that lets you re-size this type of dialog window?

This used to be way worse prior to 9 or 10 IIRC. We had way smaller space. I dont know of a way to make it larger.

Maybe a temporary solution can be to have a very shorter name for any table, like a letter and 3 or 4 numbers
for example E-201, A-015
