Hi,

I've got a client that will be using the 2X software to log into Filemaker from an Android Device.

The reason is because of the camera and the products ability to "Mark Up" a photo taken easily.

I have no experience in the 2X software and what to expect ...

Is there anybody in the Forum who can advise me here as to what Filemaker will do when the User Logs Into the server and the solution is display on the device … can the "Container" field be accessible to insert the "Marked Up" photo ??

World Cloud has not return my call yet and I'm just trying to get a head start here.  Since World Cloud is offering a solution I hopeful there are some other with some experience they can offer.

I would be grateful.

Thank you.

Tom

Looks like it provides some sort of remote desktop interface when depolyed in certain ways - so it should act as if it were FileMaker...

But WorldCloud will be the ones that can give you that info, as there are several ways to deply based on a quick web search...

Cheers

Remote Desktop software like does not typically allow for any interaction between the device you run it on and the computer whose desktop you are seeing.

What you are after is finding a way to transfer a file from the Android device to the machine running FileMaker or FileMaker Server and then linking that file to the record the user is on.  Not trivial.
