The FileMaker Developer will define, gather and analyze functional business requirements with customers.  The FileMaker Developer will primarily develop, test, deploy and maintain FileMaker applications and corresponding infrastructure.  Occasionally, the FileMaker Developer will translate the business requirements into technical requirements for the development team and will ensure application/integration testing and customer acceptance is conducted in a proper way to ensure high quality.

Skills Required:

Minimum Education and Experience:

• BS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or Business.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant IT professional experience from application development and maintenance.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience with FileMaker database development, deployment and maintenance.
• Experience with FileMaker Server and running server side scripts.
• Thorough understanding of FileMaker scripting and calculation engines.
• Deep understanding of FileMaker’s user and permission structure.
• Strong skills in comprehensive testin Experience with source code repositories and management.
• Excellent written (Business & Technical), verbal and listening communication skills as well as negotiation and technical talents with ability to interface at all levels.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in different geographies and time zones.
• Full System Development Life Cycle experience of small to medium size projects.
• Creation of Functional Business Requirements documentation, Business and Data Model documentation and Technical Specifications.
