Building a runtime app on a Mac that will be sent out to PC users. I need the name of a sans sarif font that won't cause problems on the PC. Can anyone tell me a of a specific font they have used successfully?

I use Arial. But stay away from symbols like

I use Arial and Tahoma on PCs

We use verdana, seems to be good on both platforms. No problems with any characters

i agree with verdana. it has always looked good for us on both PCs and Macs.

Font sizes aren't the same across platforms -- they're larger in Windows, so allow extra space.
