here is a strange request.. Im not sure even if im in the right forum..

Is it possible to show the contents of a web page in a container field? or open a window withing filemaker to show a web page.. I know we can use the open url script step but that just opens the browser with the URL specified in by a field..

We are trying to see if we could get a window within filemaker to do this

About the closest I can think of is pasting an image of a web page into a container field, but that's probably not what you want or mean.

The Open URL script step is about it.

Not dynamically. You could, of course, take a screen shot of a browser page and paste it in a container field. Not very useful.

This capability would also make it possible to display emails containing html in FM. The missing bit of a mail system I've written in FM. Maybe someone will offer a plug-in.
