MaxB.
Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to automatically upload an exported .csv file to an FTP server on a Windows PC. I already have a working solution for Mactintosh by running a calculated AppleScript, but I don't know much about Windows and I don't know of any equivalent for PC. The current method I have just calls cURL in the Terminal.
MonkeybreadSoftware
You can use MBS Plugin with CURL functions to do FTP/FTPS/SFTP upload from your scripts. Simply download plugin and check examples. http://www.monkeybreadsoftware.de/filemaker/
RodM
What I did.. depending on how much ftp you need.. I use free for 2 hours, then restart FM another 2hours..360Works_FTPeek I also run a zipping process.. then an unzip process back and forth moving FM files to remote location Tried.. attaching to slow email ended up with FTP option.. but rather send to DropBox.. seems to be extremely fast, like a harddrive
john renfrew
Or with a teensy bit of effort write/adapt your own with ScriptMaster It's free and then you get lots of other goodness for free too. Works on both platforms. Single effort double result.
