Get ( ScreenScaleFactor ) - where is this documented?

I just a came across Get (ScreenScaleFactor) but can't find any documentation for this function.

 

It's not listed in the internal FM help, nor on the main FM help website, or at least I can't find it.

 

Anyone got some docs or ideas?

Never seen this. Is it a ZoomLevel thing?

Unknown. I don't see it documented anywhere. It returns 1 for me. Zoom doesn't affect it.

It appears to be related to differences with Retina displays. For example, on my PC with external monitor ( Windows 7/8 ) it returns 1. On a MacBook with Retina display, it returns 2.

Okay, sounds reasonable.

 

Still, no actual documentation by FileMaker though.

The same thing happened with Get ( CurrentTimeUTCMilliseconds ).

 

It started as an undocumented function. Once FMI was comfortable that everything was working as designed, they added it as an official function and added the documentation.
