OnLayoutEnter script :

Adjust Window (Resize to fit)

Show/Hide Text Ruler (Hide)

New Record/Request

Filemaker Go displays record-browsing arrows and allows my Guest-users to see what other guests have entered.

I want my guests to land on a Form with empty fields, fill, commit, and leave. No browsing, no searching, nothing. How do I hide/disable Go's tool bar?

Many thanks

OK, ok, found it under a different title in an earlier post. Answer : Custom Menu with only "Refresh Window" on.

Many, many thanks and sorry for messing up the thread.

Hi Jean and Welcome to the FM Forums,

No reason to be sorry at all. I’m glad that you found an answer.

This happens all of the time.

Happy FileMaking,

Hi Jean,

With FileMaker Pro Advanced you can also use the Developer Tools to enable 'Kiosk' mode for the file. This completely removes the record navigation toolbar rather than just disabling the available commands. Just make sure you provide a button with the script commnd to Exit Application or Close File... Also kiosk mode only kicks in when the file is opened using a non-admin account, so you will need to allow for that, e.g setting file to automatically log in using a non admin account....

Hope this makes sense,

Sky

You should probably use a separate single record table and a layout using global fields. Then script the new record process.
