I don't know where to begin..

GPS plugin?   and a map?

Can FM handle this

anyone?

Do you perform any searches for you keywords prior to asking for help? I remember several threads on this need. Do a search of google, for "site: fmforums.com maps and GPS"

This blog post series should get you started. FileMaker Go on an iOS device supports satellite navigation (GPS & GLONASS) without a plug-in (on iOS devices with cellular data hardware). It's possible for FileMaker Pro running on a laptop to communicate with a separate hardware GPS device through a serial communication plugin, but you should start with iPhone or iPad GPS first.

For mapping, you should not try Google Maps first. The Google Maps license terms specifically prohibit use for any vehicle dispatch or asset management solutions without paying for their enterprise license. Try OpenStreetMap or MapQuest first, in that order.

I thought I did searched only 'gps' in this forum, maybe not enough variation in right search box

Seems like both replies indicated to rather, use Google search

Especially thanks to jbante

Your always been helpful to me :)

The FM Forum search engine will not find words with less than 4 characters, that is why I posted the Google way.
