Got a few notifications from MirrorSync, about one a day since the end of last week. Portions of the message say:

SEVERE

Last sync failed: java.sql.SQLException

Error occurred while reading XML

Premature end of file.

I'm waiting to hear back from the client to see what they noticed on their end. Meanwhile, what does this mean? And what should we do?

TIA,

debi

We've had this problem reported by several other clients - it's essentially a 'hiccup' in the XML Web Publishing Engine returning an empty XML result. We've seen it occur 2-3 times out of every 1,000 requests, typically when the hardware is not able to respond fast enough to requests.

I just got about 6 of these -- all referencing the same iPad -- within an hour. This is right after ODI did the 2.208 update. What should we do about it?

TIA,

debi

I just had the exact same error from 2 separate iPads. I also noticed the Java client will constantly search for Database connections with no success.

java.sql.SQLException: java.sql.SQLException: Error occurred while reading XML: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 1; Premature end of file.

Nothing has changed at my end (to my knowledge) and I have done server restarts and service restarts with no resolutions. Strange!!
