Hi

Weird!

I created a app using the template offered by FM called
"Expense Report"   to begin and modifying it.. to meet my purpose

Now I am about done...   compiling it ok, running Exe t my prob

Using FileMaker Advance..  I open the fmp12 app created and its just fine

Looking at image 2

When running the EXE app..    everything looks bad.. the fonts are BIG..
everything is so BIG I can't recognize the layout screen

Looking at image 1

Any possible reasoning?

Hi Rod,

I believe what is happening is that your first view is a layout specified if iPad (Expense Reports | iPad) and the second is desktop version (Expense Reports).  Which layouts are displayed would be controlled by your opening script Trigger | On First Window Open.

yup///  just found it...   thanks

If application version "Pro"     when compiled uses my Else::: and sets layout to iphone on my desktop

You show you are using version 12 and the file is set to minimum version of 13.  This indicates that there are aspects which will not work (or display properly) if opened in 12 so this is just a heads-up.  :-)
