3.1 V2 - Adding Project Name to ToDo portal on Staff layout

Featured Replies

  • Newbies

On the ToDo portal on the Staff layout, I want to add the Project Name. Thought I had figured out the related Table Occurrence, but it only shows a project name for the first record. And that isn't the right project.

Please do not multiple post your questions.

I have deleted your second post on this subject.

Ok,  Well the TO-Do Table... actually has a field... id_project... so the data is there to Tap into.

I am not going to reference FMSP 3.x.  I am not providing free support on that version... I don't actually have it on my servers anywhere... BUT the Anchor Buoy numbers should be the same.

So... the answer here should be the same... or close to it.

Staff Table Occurrence Group is T17.  The TO-DO Portal is T17k.   So Far so good.

You will have to add a new Grandchild relation ship to the RIGHT of T17k.  In FMSP ...there is a Grandchild already to the right of T17k... so... move it up a bit...to make room for a 2nd one.  This 2nd grandchild TO should connect to T17k.... id_project = id_project.

From here you can get all the project information you want...and display that on the T17 portal on you staff layout.

If you have question about Anchor Buoy... or relationship construction... I recommend checking out our inexpensive video training course... at www.learningfilemaker.com
