Use conditional formatting. 

 

+1.  Another option is to check out FileMaker's Text Formatting functions.  Fully agree with doughemi that usually conditional formatting is the way to go, but it depends in part on your specific goals.

(BTW, a good bookmark to keep front and center in your Safari bookmarks bar is the FileMaker help site.  I visit that site multiple times per day and never fail to learn something new or refresh something old.)

+1 to Mark’s post. In addition, I have bookmarked 11, 12 and 13 help links, along with a lot of other FileMaker resources.
