I'm serving some data with FM Unlimited and web companion hooked to a FM Server. Is there any way to have the unlimited system re-connect to the server automatically if it drops the connection for whatever reason?

You could use a scheduled AppleScript to re-open every X minutes. Or a separate filemaker DB with an open database script step.
